A visit to Naxos would not be complete without a trip to it's traditional villages: Melanes, Kouros, Flerio, (here you will find the infamous statues- Kouros measuring 6.5 meters and Kori located in a lush garden and dating back to 6th Century BC).

Sagri, with its breathtaking Temple of Demetre. On the way to Chalki, a stop in Damalas pottery workshop is considered a must. Chalki with it's citrus distillery.

Filoti, the largest village of the island, the town square has many cafes and is covered by a centuries old plantain.

Naxos will leave you with a feeling of wanting more, it truly is a world to experience.

Apeiranthos, is Naxos's well known marble mountain village, with taverns, offering quality produce such as local meat, cheese and wine. Further on, is the coastal town of Apollonas, showcasing the almost 10-metre Kouros.

The small and beautiful village of Eggares, is the home of our newest love, Eggares Olive Press museum. Offering free entrance, tours and tasting, it lies approximately 6kms to the North of Naxos town (Chora).
